Description
The AMSEC BFS3416E1 is part of the latest economical burglar and fire protection safes, the BFS series. We like the BFS3416E1 because of the generous amount of steel in the construction as well as the 60 minutes of fire protection. You get all the features of the more expensive models but at a great price.
With ½” of steel in the door and 2.31″ double wall steel in the body, this safe is built to deter. The door and walls are filled with fire resistant material providing 60 minutes of fire protection keeping the inside below 350° with outside temperatures up to 1700°.
The ESL10XL digital lock is provides visual and audial feedback, ideal low light situations and has passed the Underwriters Labs testing to receive their Type 1 high security rating. The lock is powered by one 9-volt battery and is protected by hardplate and two relock devices. With simple instructions you set your own 6-digit code and can change it on your own at any time. If you enter the incorrect code too many times the lock will enter a 15 minute penalty lockout, preventing a burglar from multiple attempts to guess the correct code.
The floor of this safe has one anchor hole with hardware.
With its textured black and gray two tone combination, it looks great with most decors.
