The AMSEC BFS912E5LP provides the best burglar and fire protection available on the market in this compact size. Sized similar to a microwave oven, we like the BFS912E5LP because of the generous amount of steel in the construction as well as the 60 minutes of fire protection.

With nearly ½” of steel in the door and nearly 1¼” steel in the body, this safe is built to deter. The door and walls are filled with fire resistant material providing 60 minutes of fire protection keeping the inside below 350° with outside temperatures up to 1775°.

The E5LP digital lock is provides backlighting for ease of use even in low light situations and has passed the Underwriters Labs testing to receive their Type 1 high security rating. The lock is powered by one 9-volt battery and is protected by hardplate and two relock devices. With simple instructions you set your own 6-digit code and can change it on your own at any time. If you enter the incorrect code too many times the lock will enter a 15 minute penalty lockout, preventing a burglar from multiple attempts to guess the correct code.

The floor of this safe has two anchor holes with hardware. Do bolt this down to something solid. Otherwise, the 124 lbs. is light enough for 1-2 big guys to haul it away.

The safe is great looking, painted in a black and gray two tone combination. It looks great with most decors.
