Description
The Black Hawk Gun Safe is solid in both design and quality. It has 10 gauge steel and an additional 1/4″ steel plate on the interior of the door giving it 30% thicker steel than most competing brands. The door is constructed with 5″ thick steel. This level of steel protects against crow bar and pry attacks.
The BHS-16E has 16 solid steel bolts at 1.5 inches thick, covering all four sides of the door. This safe will surely keep your firearms secure from theft.
For fire protection, the BHS-16E is rated for 90 minutes at 1400 degrees.
The Sargent and Greenleaf Military Grade EMP Rated Spartan lock is UL listed Type 1. Its illumination makes the keypad easy to use even in dark rooms.
In terms of luxury features, this safe has a 5 spoke black chrome handle and trim. Inside all walls are wrapped with Hollon’s durable “pillow trim” protecting your guns against scratches. On the door, you have a heavy duty canvas door organizer to help you get the most usage of space.
